Anna White

Interprofessional Chair

Hello! My name is Anna, and I am originally from Cape Coral, FL. In 2018, I had the privilege of graduating from a Historically Black College and University(HBCU), Oakwood University in Huntsville AL with a bachelor’s degree in the Biomedical Sciences. I am currently pursuing my passion of serving and positively impacting others by studying medicine at the Carver College of Medicine. During my time in medical school, I have been an active member in the interprofessional organization, Society of Black Graduate and Professional Students (BGAPS) and the medical school organization, Student National Medical Association(SNMA).

I am excited to serve in my role as Interprofessional committee chair and hope to help promote collaboration and interdisciplinary networking throughout my term. I anticipate that this year will continue to be unprecedented but I look forward to the challenge of working with all of you to create programming and events that meet your needs and foster your growth while a graduate or professional student at THE University of Iowa.

If you have any ideas, suggestions or interest in being involved in the Interprofessional activities and events, please feel free to send me an email!
