My name is Amber Crow (she/her/hers) and I’m a 3L at the University of Iowa College of Law. I’m originally from Truro, Iowa and graduated with honors from the University of Iowa in 2019 with a BA in Ethics & Public Policy, BA in Journalism & Mass Communications, and a Minor in Criminology, Law, & Justice. I previously worked as a litigation paralegal in Des Moines, Iowa prior to beginning law school.
I have previously served as the Cabinet Director of the Graduate and Professional Student Government, President of First-Generation Professionals at Iowa Law, and Conference Co-Chair of the Organization for Women Law Students and Staff at Iowa Law. I’m part of Iowa Law’s Pro Bono Society and work as a Student Ambassador for Iowa Law. I have previously sat on the Presidential Charter Committee on University Safety and Security, Presidential Charter Committee on Sustainability, and Council on the Status of Women.
As President of the Graduate and Professional Student Government, I look forward to zealously advocating on behalf of graduate and professional students while ensuring our operations and agenda move as effectively and efficiently as possible. I’m eager to collaborate on meaningful initiatives that will leave a lasting impact for our students and community. I am always willing to listen and learn to each of our constituents and promise to advocate to the best of my ability. I firmly believe if there is a will then there is a way to achieve any objective. I am excited to serve all of you. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!
Outside of academics, I enjoy traveling and have been to 18 countries in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East! I’m also a dedicated fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Iowa Hawkeyes. I adore all animals and have two of the sweetest cats, Pippa & Gemma.
