Psychological and Brain Sciences Colloquium: Jeremy Wolfe promotional image

Dr. Jeremy Wolfe is a Professor of Ophthalmology and Radiology in the Brigham and Women's Hospital at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wolfe’s research focuses on visual search and visual attention. He investigates how people find what they are looking for and why they might fail to notice something that’s right in front of their eyes. He has a particular interest in socially important search tasks in areas like medical image perception (e.g., cancer screening), security (e.g., baggage screening), and intelligence. Dr. Wolfe’s Guided Search model is one of the leading theoretical approaches to the study of visual search.
