Wellness Week @ MISSE
In partnership with University Counseling Services, Student Wellness, and Facilities Management
Take a break, recharge, and connect! Wellness Week @ MISSE is a weeklong series of activities, workshops, and community conversations designed to support mental health and holistic wellbeing.
Each day, MISSE teams up with University Counseling Services - and on Wednesday, with the University of Iowa Arborist - to host engaging wellness workshops at the Cultural Centers. Topics will include mindfulness, motivation, identity, stress management, resilience, and community connection with others and in nature.
Midweek Highlight: Grounded in Your Roots
Join MISSE Coordinator Carolina Kaufman, UI Arborist Andrew Dahl, and Student Wellness for a multi-sensory, interactive fall tree stroll-walk at the height of the foliage! Reconnect with the environment, engage in all your senses, and find calm, restoration, and community through nature. Student Wellness will share upcoming programs and resources students can participate in throughout the year.
Whether you're looking for practical coping tools, a space to reflect on identity or simply a moment to pause and take a break and breath, Wellness Week @ MISSE is for you! Come for one even or join us all week - we'd love to see you!
