The College of Law’s Annual Supreme Court Day is Friday, October 24, 2025. The event commemorates National Constitution Day.
At 11:00 a.m., the seven Justices of the Iowa Supreme Court will hear the Supreme Court Day student moot case, The Iowa Coffee Company, LLC v. The Iowa Coffee Company & Roasters, LLC. A Webinar link to view the 11:00 am case is below.
At 1:30 pm, the seven Justices of the Iowa Supreme Court will be hearing a public case, Case No. 24-1566, State of Iowa, Ex Rel. Attorney General Brenna Bird v. Tiktok, Inc., Tiktok Ltd, Tiktok Pte. Ltd, Bytedance Ltd. and Bytedance, Inc.: https://www.iowacourts.gov/iowa-courts/supreme-court/supreme-court-oral-argument-schedule/case/24-1566. On Friday evening at 6 pm, Iowa Supreme Court justices will join students and faculty for dinner. A reservation form to sign up for a dinner has been placed in students’ mail folders. Please return the reservation form to the collection box in the Dean’s Suite (280 BLB). Attendees for the dinners will be determined in the order the reservation forms were submitted. Assignment lists will be posted and distributed to student mail folders on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Dress for the dinners is business casual.
