Welcome to join the Presentation hosted by the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Title: Heterogeneous Nanophotonic Structures for Quantum Technologies

Presenter: Dr. Ravitej Uppu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Iowa, where he leads the Quantum Light Control (QLiC!) Lab. His group's research focuses on developing deterministic emitter-photon interfaces as building blocks for scalable photonic quantum technologies, including quantum repeater networks and simulators. Ravi is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, the University of Iowa Jumpstarting Tomorrow interdisciplinary teaming grant, and DoD grants for advancing PT-symmetric quantum optics and heterogeneous nanophotonics.
