FREE ASIST Training Dates: Thursday 01/15/2026 and Friday 01/16/2026 (mandatory to attend the entire 2 days of training to complete the program)
Location: University Capitol Centre (UCC), 201 South Capitol Street, Iowa City, IA 52240. We will start each day in conference room 2520 D, located on 2nd floor of the building.
Participant Arrival Time (each day): 8-8:15 AM
Start Time (each day): 8:30 AM
End Time (each day): 5:00 PM
Lunch: On your own. We will provide some light snacks throughout the day. For lunch, there are several restaurants available within the University Capitol Centre and in the surrounding pedestrian mall. You are also free to bring a packed lunch for yourself if you prefer.
Parking: University Capitol Centre has a parking garage attached to it. https://facilities.uiowa.edu/building/0072. There is also street parking available in the surrounding downtown area. Parking fees will be your responsibility for each day. Several cambus and city buses make regular stops at the UCC bus depot too. https://transportation.uiowa.edu/cambus/routes
