The UI College of Pharmacy will host the 2026 US-Thai/US-ASEAN Pharmacy Consortia Meeting.

The US-Thai Consortium for the Development of Pharmacy Education in Thailand was established in May 1994, when nine U.S. schools of pharmacy and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) signed a Memorandum of Agreement with eight Thai schools of pharmacy and the Committee for Pharmacy Manpower Development of the Thailand Ministry of University Affairs.

The consortium’s mission was to establish a formal, institution-level partnership aligned with the Ministry of University Affairs’ long-term development plan to strengthen the academic, research, and clinical programs of their Schools of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. There are now 18 Thai and 16 US schools of pharmacy in the consortium.
