The University of Iowa College of Law will celebrate Supreme Court Day, the College’s oldest tradition, on Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3, 2026.

First, the Iowa Supreme Court justices will hear student oral arguments at 11 a.m. from the top 3L advocates from last spring’s Van Oosterhout-Baskerville competition. Then, at 1:30 p.m. the Court will hear public oral arguments in a case currently pending before the Court. On Friday evening, Iowa Supreme Court Justices will join students and faculty for dinner.
