Faculty, staff, students, and student organizations can support Tippie Impact Week by participating in the weeklong swap and participating in flexible, drop-in events. Organizations are encouraged to coordinate member donations and volunteers, with success reflected through strong campus-wide engagement and meaningful contributions.
Monday – Kickoff & Campus Swap Launch (11:30–2:30 PM, South Galleria)
Tabling event to introduce Impact Week, share information on daily activities, donation needs, service partners, and distribute event flyers.
Tuesday – Sustainability Swap (1:30-3:30 South Galleria)
Students, faculty, and staff donate and exchange clothing or school supplies to promote reuse, accessibility, and affordability.
Wednesday – Multi-Station Service Night (3:30–6:30 PM, S401)
Come-and-go service stations supporting ChildServe, Ronald McDonald House, and United Way, including card-writing, bracelet making, blanket tying, kit assembly, and packaging drives.
Thursday – Educational Service Event (4:00-6:00 PM S401)
Guest speaker panel on the impact of service followed by a structured service activity in partnership with Letters of Love. Guest speakers include Dr. Kenneth Brown - Tippie College of Business, Ellie Moore - Community Foundation of Johnson County, and Tom Martinez - Common Good Iowa.
Friday – Trivia Event
Teams from multiple student organizations compete in a trivia night. More details to come. For students and student orgs only.
