Join Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG) and Faculty Senate for a monthly, cross-disciplinary panel series that provides students and faculty the opportunity to hear about perspectives outside of their field and research on a topic of interest, to meet and socialize other graduate or professional students and faculty, and to engage with GPSG/Faculty Senate. February's panel will focus on eminent domain, with perspectives from faculty in the College of Engineering, College of Law, and School of Planning and Public Affairs.
The panel will feature the following speakers:
Craig Just, Donald E. Bently Professor in Engineering; Professor, Civil and Environmental Engineering
Shannon Roesler, Charlotte and Frederick Hubbell Professor of Environmental and Natural Resources Law; Professor, College of Law; Faculty Director, Hubbell Environmental Law Initiative
Scott Spak, Associate Professor, School of Planning and Public Affairs
Lunch will be provided at the event on a first-come-first-served basis. Students planning to attend should register on Engage.
This event is designated as a Lawyers & Leaders event for College of Law students. Attendance at one Lawyers & Leaders event each semester is one requirement for membership in the Pro Bono Society.
