Across the Aisle - Does America Need More Babies?

Across the Aisle is hosting an all-school discussion on Declining Birth Rates: Should America Have More Babies? Brought to you by the Collegiate Community Committee, our goal is to bridge division by bringing people with different perspectives on important social and political issues into conversation with each other. This event will focus on the problem of declining birth rates in developed countries, whether government policies encouraging people to have children amount to reproductive coercion, and the contemporary social media phenomenon of 'trad' influencers.

After introductory remarks from Professor Katharine Baker, participants will form small groups over lunch to discuss their views. They are not expected to reach a consensus; instead, the event aims to foster civil dialogue. Across the Aisle is open to all College of Law students, staff, and faculty and their views.

The event will occur on Tuesday, March 10, at 12:40 PM in BLB 235. Hot lunch will be provided to those who RSVP! To join, please register by adding your name here (www.tinyurl.com/AcrossTheAisle).
