Blood Drive hosted by IC Rotary Club at the Iowa City Environmental Education Center

The Rotary Club of Iowa City and the DeGowin Blood Center is hosting a blood drive from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11th, 2026 the City of Iowa City Environmental Education Center.

When donating, remember to:

· Provide a photo ID

· Drink plenty of fluids and have a good meal before you donate

· Be free of cold or flu symptoms for five days

· Bring a list of the medications you take

· Bring a list of the places and dates you have traveled outside the U.S. within the last three year

Whole blood donations take about 45 to 60 minutes.

All blood collected will be used to support patients at UI Health Care and Stead Family Children's Hospital
