We invite School of Music friends and community members to stop by the Voxman Music Building on Thursday, October 29, anytime between 4:30-6:00pm to participate in an open-house celebration commemorating the 10th anniversary of the iconic building opening its doors.
Hollywood composer, music producer, actor, and UI alumnus Scott Icenogle (1991 BA) will be on hand to premiere his new composition, "Ode to Voxman," which provides the score for a new Voxman Music Building 10th Anniversary Video, which will be shown in the Recital Hall with brief remarks at 5:15pm.
Guests can enjoy light refreshments in the 2nd floor Pearl West Lobby, and wander through the building enjoying student performances in our unique, beautiful, and specially engineered music-making spaces throughout the building.
This event is free to attend and all are welcome.
