"The UI First-Generation Task Force established four 1stGen@Iowa Awards in 2019. These awards recognize first-generation student achievements as well as outstanding advocacy and support efforts of faculty and staff. Recipients of Fall 2020 awards will be honored in November during our celebration of the annual  National First-Generation College Celebration."

Four awards available: (2) First-Generation Student Achievement Award and (2) Award for Outstanding First-Generation Student Advocacy. 

Nominations for all four 1stGen@Iowa Awards are due Friday, October 9, 2020.
