I am a PhD student in Epidemiology at the University of Iowa, where I also earned my master's degree in the same field. My research focuses on dementia risk reduction, cognitive aging, and the effects of diabetic factors over time on dementia prognosis. By using epidemiologic methods and health equity frameworks, I aim to address complex public health challenges and improve outcomes for aging populations. Besides my research, I serve as a leader in the College of Public Health Graduate Student Association and the Public Health Strike Force at Iowa. I am committed to campus advocacy, student engagement, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative, interdisciplinary environment for my peers.
