My name is Hardik Kalra, and I am a third-year graduate student in the Cancer Biology program. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master of Science in Health and Human Physiology and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Physiology. 

As a graduate student, I have served on the Cancer Biology invited Speaker Committee and as a member of the Grants Review Committee for GPSG. As Director of Government Relations, I am committed to advocating for the needs of our graduate and professional student community at both the institutional and state level. My priorities include advancing student mental health funding, supporting graduate and professional student stipend reform, and improving access to housing and centralized resources for graduate and professional students near campus. 

I look forward to working with our legislative body and improving the student experience here at the University of Iowa. Go Hawks!
