Airiana Mohr

Cabinet Director
Biography

My name is Airiana Mohr (she/her), and I am a second-year student in both the Master of Public Affairs (MPA) and Master of Arts in Strategic Communication (MASC) programs here at Iowa. While I am originally from Rockford, Illinois, this will be my sixth year in Iowa and my fifth year in student government. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Iowa (May 2023).

As an undergraduate, I served in USG for all four years. I'm excited to bring my passion for student advocacy, my experiences in student government and leadership, and the campus relationships I've built to GPSG. As Cabinet Director, I hope to better our internal processes and support GPSG leadership and directors in their efforts to make campus for all graduate and professional students. I also hope to work closely with our undergraduate counterparts to spearhead joint initiatives affecting all Hawkeyes.

Outside of GPSG, I am a research assistant with the Graduate College's external relations team where I have the privilege of writing stories about the amazing work and research our graduate and professional students are doing. (Have a story idea or know someone with interesting projects? Send them my way!)
