I serve as International Student Affairs Director within the Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG) at the University of Iowa, where I bring both lived experience and scholarly insight to the role. As a PhD student in Religious Studies and an international student myself, I understand the challenges and possibilities of navigating new cultural and academic spaces. I create conversational and supportive environments where students can share their stories, build community, and find belonging. My work is shaped by my research on identity, culture, and global belonging, bridging practice and scholarship. Outside of my academic and administrative work, I enjoy playing the guitar, singing, and engaging in community-centered creative initiatives.
