Robin Nilsson

Interprofessional Director
Biography

My name is Robin Nilsson and I am currently pursuing a Dual Masters in Finance and Business Analytics. I am from Miami, Florida, where I was trained in fine art realism, Fashion design, and textile design at magnet art highschools. Upon graduating, I moved to Iowa and earned Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Business Analytics from Cornell College. While at Cornell, I worked at the Bery Career Institute. Helping my peers to succeed in their professional endeavors was a fulfilling experience which motivated me to apply my analytics degree towards improving student retention and higher education success. Currently, I work at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, specializing in higher education Retention Management Systems and Student Satisfaction and Priorities Survey products. I also serve as a Director on the Alumni Board at Cornell College, and as a Dual Masters Finance and Business Analytics Graduate Student Ambassador. As a member of the Alumni Board, I founded and organized annual alumni panels to inspire current students while promoting alumni networking. On the side of school and work, I also manage a custom fine art portraits business. My hobbies include yo-yoing, stilt-walking, aerial silks, making balloon animals, and running. Serving as Interprofessional Director, I plan to host events which foster professional and social connections among students in the Business, Dentistry, Graduate, Law, Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health Colleges.
