Hi, I am Sam, and I am a third-year Ph.D. student in the Cell and Developmental Biology program. I'm originally from Okoboji, Iowa. I did my undergraduate at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, where I received a B.A in Biology. I am excited to serve as the Bio and Med Delegate, and I hope to use my position to create meaningful change for our graduate students here at Iowa. When I am not in the lab, I enjoy going to Trivia at Joe's, spending time with family and friends, and working on my cooking skills.
