My name is Travis Fischer and I am a 5^th year PhD Candidate in the Cancer Biology Program and am the President of the Graduate Student Senate. I come from New Hampshire and have held several service positions here at the university, including on GPSG and GSS. I am committed to ensuring that graduate student needs are met and that their voices are heard at all levels of the university and the state government. Outside of my advocacy roles for scientific funding, I enjoy watching Hawkeye football and painting.
