Making new friends as an adult can be hard enough in "normal" times. When you add the ongoing pandemic on top of graduate/professional school and work, it can be a recipe for increased social isolation and stress. To help spark some new connections, the GPSG Interprofessional Committee is hosting a Speed Friending event at 7:30pm CST on Thursday February 11, 2021. The event will be held over Zoom and the meeting room ID is 955 1865 1310.

Grab your drink of choice, settle in to a comfy spot, and take a well-deserved break while getting to know fellow University of Iowa graduate and professional students from other colleges and programs. Who knows, you may just meet your new best friend in the College of Pharmacy. Or connect with someone else from your home state/county in the Graduate College. Or vibe with someone who also has a cat and loves rock climbing in the College of Public Health

This is event is casual, low key, and you can come and go as you need. If you have questions, email Interprofessional Committee Chair, Anna White, at gpsginterprofessionalchair@team.uiowa.edu.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact gpsginterprofessionalchair@team.uiowa.edu.
