Thank you to everyone who was able to participate in the 3 Day GPSG Food Pantry Drive! Congratulations to all of the colleges who participated and helped us bring in over 200 items and $210 in donations! The Food Pantry at UIowa is available to all students, faculty, and staff.

The GPSG DEI Committee recently launched a new podcast, Graduate and Professional Student Voices. The podcast will explore the experiences, challenges, and successes of graduate and professional students with diverse identities.

On November 12, 2020, GPSG Leadership joined fellow shared governance leaders from Undergraduate Student Government, Faculty Senate, and Staff Council in a letter addressed to the Iowa Board of Regents.

GPSG President, Mackensie Graham, and GPSG DEI Committee Chair, Rachel Maller, are both members of the Reimagining Campus Safety Action Committee (RCSAC). As reported in IowaNow, the Committee "is making progress on creating a shared vision for a safe and inclusive campus for every member of the community.

GPSG is looking forward to being closely involved in the search process for the next University of Iowa President as well as working with the representatives from the other shared governance bodies—USG, Faculty Senate, and Staff Council.

On October 16, 2020, the College of Dentistry administration issued a statement via email condemning Executive Order No. 13950. (1) The ensuing email chain, where students and faculty debated the purpose and response to the Executive Order, was a catalyst of hurt for many.
