Applications for Leadershape are now open! LeaderShape and the University of Iowa partner to host a session of the Institute. The 2019 session will be held from January 7 -- 12, 2019.

Leaders of GPSG, UISG, and student leaders from Iowa State and UNI submitted an Op-ed that was published in the Des Moines Register today. Our leaders called upon candidates to go on record and expressly state their position on funding Iowa's Regents institutions.

Elections are around the corner, and GPSG and UISG are teaming up to make sure we get students registered. Next week, organizations will be around campus helping students get registered to vote. Check out Hubbard park from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Sept.

On November 16, 2017, the U. S. House of Representatives passed a tax bill that, if signed into law, would place an immense burden on students working toward advanced degrees in the U. S.

On Friday, August 25th, Hurricane Harvey, a category-four hurricane, made landfall over Texas, causing unprecedented and catastrophic flooding and damage in Houston, Galveston, and Corpus Christi. This past week we have continued to see the damage expand to areas in Louisiana.
